Practical help we need

Once the main structure is complete, there will still be plenty to do. We would welcome offers of help from local people and businesses who can provide skills, practical support, materials or useful contacts.

Internal fit-out

Toilets, kitchen, lobby, lighting, electrics, fire detection, heating, kick-board protection and floor coverings.

Solar panels and battery

Help us create an off-grid energy system, with the final requirements to be agreed with Building Control.

Outside the hut

Fencing, landscaping and the finishing touches that will make the surroundings welcoming and practical.

Furniture and storage

New furniture and storage to help Scouts, Guides and other users make the most of the new hut.

We will also be offering sponsorship opportunities in the future. More details will be shared when these are ready.
